Stonewalls and woodpiles are man made structures created out of objects found in nature. This album is a collection of tape pieces, soundscapes, found sound compositions, and other works of sound art that parallel the concept of stonewalls and woodpiles in the audio world. Like wood, sometimes the sounds are processed before they're stacked. Other times, like rocks, they're pulled right out of nature and forced together.
